The Friendship Fellowship at Pineda was founded by a group of liberal Unitarian Universalists who had previously been affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Fellowships in Cocoa and Melbourne. We struck out on our own in an effort to create an environment and an organization that would meet our particular intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and social needs.

Since we have made this new start, we find that we are enjoying an enthusiasm and vigor that confirms us in the correctness of our decision to move in this new direction.

We endeavor to provide an organization and an atmosphere in which people can find vigorous intellectual challenge, calm and caring emotional support, friendly and relaxed social companionship, and renewing spiritual inspiration from a variety of liberal traditions.

Our Sunday Service speakers challenge us with ideas about social problems, humanisim, the world’s mainline religions, ethics, social responsibility, Unitarian Universalist history, and how to increase the relevance of Unitarian Universalism to today’s complex, idealistically divided, and increasingly polarized social structure.
